Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer who is regarded as one of the members of the group One Direction. Parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on the 1st of February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles, a former student of Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive schools was the founder of a band called White Eskimo with three fellow students. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. Although he has always been interested in the music world but despite his enthusiasm in it, he also wanted to become a lawyer and physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. Harry Styles, in 2010, auditioned to be on The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. This is why his group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation took place in the year 2010 and the five youngsters were funded by Simon Cowell. The band of five was backed by Cowell, and they were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the top contenders in the contest. But they finished 3rd place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't win the competition. However Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
