Torrie (Torrie) Wilson was born on a family farm in Boise Idaho. The farm is surrounded by the usual crops consisting of potatoes, corn as well as wheat. Wilson was an aspiring fitness model at the time she entered the entertainment business in late 1990s. Her entry into this industry was a result of the WCW backstage tour with her ex-boyfriend. She ended up accompanying Scott Steiner to the ring as well, and she remained working in the ring for close to a decade after that. Wilson participated in WCW at times, was also the manager of competitors such as David Flair. Billy Kidman. The Filthy Aliens, and Shane Douglas. Wilson was hired by WWE in 2001 when it bought WCW. Her athleticism and penchant for entertainment helped make her an ideal fit for WWE during one of the sports-entertainment industries' most significant eras. Wilson's friendship with Stacy Keibler, her adversary and sometimes friend, made her an important character in the WCW's assault on WWE. Wilson's involvement with Women's WWE division started after the assault. Wilson had memorable rivalries among them Keibler, Sable, Melina as well as Melina, Sable, and Keibler. The family of her mother was also in danger when she took on Dawn Marie for their honor.
